
New York 27 / Linden Boulevard - Conduit Avenue
New York 27 follows the Prospect Expressway south from Interstate 278 (Gowanus Expressway) to Kensington in west Brooklyn. The freeway ends at Ocean Parkway, a six-lane surface arterial, and New York 27 turns east onto Caton Avenue. Further east in Brooklyn and Queens, New York 27 follows the surface street routing of Linden Boulevard through Flatbush, Brownsville, East New York and Springville to Conduit Avenue. Conduit Avenue comprises the route from Linden Boulevard east to the Belt Parkway frontage road system through Howard Beach, South Ozone Park, Locust Manor, and Laurelton. New York 27 leaves the Belt Parkway right of way via Sunset Boulevard to Valley Stream in Nassau County.

Conduit Avenue was intended to serve as a frontage street network for the Bushwick Expressway from the Belt Parkway northwest to Atlantic Avenue.
