New Jersey 90 East
The eastbound beginning of the Betsy Ross Bridge in Philadelphia. Opened on April 30, 1976, the eight-lane span travels 8,485 feet across the Delaware River.1 Pictured here is an original pull through panel for U.S. 130 (first New Jersey 90 exit) at the foot of the bridge. Photo taken 12/23/01.
Variable Message Signs indicating the number of travel lanes to New Jersey and speed limit are posted along the Betsy Ross Bridge. Construction began on the bridge on June 12, 1969.1 Tolls are levied on westbound travelers to the amount of $3.00 per passenger vehicle. Photo taken 12/23/01.
Descending into Burlington County, New Jersey on the Betsy Ross Bridge (New Jersey 90) eastbound. Lane control signals and guide signs are attached to a girder type sign bridge for the connections to Interstate 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike. One half mile west of the Burlington County 644 (Haddonfield Road) off-ramp on New Jersey 90 eastbound. Approaching the exit for New Jersey Secondary 644 on eastbound. Crossing overhead are ramps to/from U.S. 130 (Crescent Boulevard). Haddonfield Road stems southward from the New Jersey 73 & U.S. 130 junction to Pennsauken, Haddonfield, and Cherry Hill.
