| New Jersey 42 northbound at the Leaf Avenue, Benigno Boulevard, and Edgewood Avenue off-ramp for Bellmawr. A pair of slip ramps join the North South Freeway with adjacent Leaf Avenue at a residential street grid with Wellwood and Edgewood Avenues. Edgewood Avenue links Leaf Avenue and New Jersey 42 with nearby Creek Road (Camden County 753) to the north. This is the last exit on New Jersey 42 before the transition into Interstate 76 & 295. | New Jersey 42 continues the North South Freeway from Interstate 76 southward to the Atlantic City Expressway and the Black Horse Pike. Just south of the Interstate 295 exit ramps is the Camden County 753 (Creek Road) over crossing at Bellmawr. The first off-ramp of New Jersey 42 joins the freeway with Creek Road via Leaf Avenue and Harding Avenue ahead. Photo taken 10/13/01.

| South of the split with New Jersey 55 at the Gloucester County 544 (Clements Bridge Road) partial cloverleaf interchange. Clements Bridge Road travels east-west through Deptford Township between Gloucester County 543 (Cooper Street) and New Jersey 41 (Hurffville Road). The road is home to the nearby Deptford Mall. East of New Jersey 41, Camden County 543 continues along Evesham Road through Runnemede, Magnolia, and Lawnside. Photo taken 10/13/01.

| The North South Freeway partitions into the Atlantic City Expressway and Black Horse Pike at its south end. The Atlantic City Expressway provides a limited access toll highway between Turnersville and Atlantic City. 44 miles separate the split here with the Expressway's east end at the one-way street couplet of Arkansas and Missouri Avenue.
