Interstate 787

Interstate 787 straddles the Hudson River through the Capital District of east-central New York. The freeway provides a spur route from the New York Thruway to the south and the connection between downtown Albany and Troy. Interchanges with Interstate 90 and New York 7 provide connections with the Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87) for the cities of Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls. Among the highlights of the four to six lane freeway is a symmetrical stack interchange with Interstate 90 and an elevated "Circle Stack" interchange with U.S. 9 & 20 at downtown.
