There is no access to U.S. 130 north into Deepwater. Instead a loop ramp departs the freeway westbound for the southbound beginning of New Jersey 49 (Broadway). | U.S. 40 New Jersey cutout shield that was posted at the foot of the Delaware Memorial Bridge westbound span on Interstate 295 south & U.S. 40 west. Opened September of 1968 to coincide with the 1951-opened northbound span, the Delaware Memorial Bridge twin span composes the longest suspension bridge pair in the world. Unfortunately both U.S. 40 cutouts posted on the southbound approach were removed a long time ago. The bridge carries a $3.00 toll for all passengers traveling west into Delaware. Photo taken 03/95.
