The current southbound beginning of Interstate 295 as it departs the full cloverleaf-interchange with Interstate 95 & U.S. 1. After Interstate 95 relocates onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Bristol, Pennsylvania, Interstate 295 sees extension southward along the Interstate 95 from Bakersville southwest to Bristol. The first of several Interstate 95 & New Jersey Turnpike trailblazers found along Interstate 295 southbound at the Bakers Basin Road underpass. Trailblazers were installed along Interstate 295 south and Interstate 195 east in 2004 to guide motorists from the current north end of Interstate 95 and the New Jersey Turnpike at Exit 7A. Klocker Avenue ties into Mercer County 535 (State Street Extension) just west of Interstate 295. There is no access onto State Street westbound from Interstate 295 southbound at Exit 64.
