The toll highway carries Interstate 95 between the Pennsylvania Turnpike Extension and the northern terminus at U.S. 46 and Ridgefield. The Exit 2 off-ramp departs Interstate 195 westbound at the Lakeside Boulevard overcrossing. Arena Drive stems northwest from Broad Street (Mercer County 524) to Interstate 295 (Exit 61) and Olden Avenue near the Trenton city line. U.S. 206 travels northward from Bordentown to Interstate 195 and Broad Street just west of here. Broad Street carries the federal highway into downtown Trenton and junction U.S. 1 (Trenton Freeway). Exit 60B departs ahead for the final seven miles of Interstate 295 northbound. The Philadelphia eastern bypass ends at junction U.S. 1 (Exit 67) near Bakersville. U.S. 206 interchanges with Interstate 95 two miles west of there at Lawrenceville en route to the control city of Princeton. Interstate 295 northbound traffic leaves Interstate 195 westbound via Exit 60B. Interstate 295 used to end at U.S. 206 (former Exit 69/current Interstate 95 Exit 7) until 1992 when the route saw truncation back to U.S. 1. The routing however will see extension again by 2012 to encompass all of the Trenton belt line when Interstate 95 relocates to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Extension at Roebling.
