Interstate 95 Southbound Bucks County

Interstate 95 south
Interstate 95 crosses the Scudders Falls Bridge and enters Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Motorists quickly encounter a six-ramp partial-cloverleaf interchange with Taylorsville Road between Yardley (pop. 2,498) and Washington Crossing. Exit 51B links Interstate 95 southbound with Taylorsville Road northbound. Taylorsville Road joins Pennsylvania 32 en route to New Hope (pop. 2,252) and junction U.S. 202. Photo taken 04/25/04.

Stoney Hill Road passes over Interstate 95 with no direct access two miles north of junction U.S. 1 (Exits 46B/A). U.S. 1 composes a full freeway between Morrisville (pop. 10,019) and Trenton westward to junction Interstate 276 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) and city of Philadelphia. Photo taken 04/25/04.
As there is no access at present between Interstate 95 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 276), all traffic bound for the toll road should use Exit 46B onto U.S. 1 southbound. U.S. 1 intersects the turnpike at Bensalem. By 2012 however Interstate 95 will directly tie into the turnpike near Bristol. Photo taken 04/25/04.
U.S. 1 intersects Interstate 95 via a full cloverleaf interchange at Woodbourne (pop. 3,403) in one mile. The federal highway serves the Langhorne (pop. 1,981) community via exits with Pennsylvania 213 (Maple Avenue) and 413 (Bellevue Avenue). Photo taken 04/25/04.
Passing over the Northeastern Corridor of Amtrak on Interstate 95 southbound at the one half mile guide sign for Exits 46B/A (U.S. 1). U.S. 1 travels eastward seven miles from Langhorne to Morrisville and the New Jersey capital city of Trenton. Westward the federal highway enters the city and county of Philadelphia in 7.5 miles. Exit 46B departs Interstate 95 southbound for U.S. 1 south. U.S. 1 passes by the Neshaminy Mall and Philadelphia Park Racetrack on the trek to Interstate 276. The highway widens to the four-carriageway Roosevelt Boulevard once it enters the city of Brotherly Love. Otherwise U.S. 1 is part of the Lincoln Highway between there and U.S. 1 Business near Parkland Heights. Photo taken 04/25/04.
Attached to the Tennis Avenue overpass near the Philadelphia City and County line is the two-mile button copy overhead for Academy Street (Exit 32).
