Interstate 91
Interstate 91 follows the U.S. 5 corridor northward from Interstate 91 at New Haven to Springfield, Massachusetts. The freeway comprises at least six lanes overall throughout the state as it passes through such cities as Hampden, Meriden, Hartford, and Windsor Locks. Interstate 91 provides the main route between New Haven and the capital city.
