Construction is underway to improve Interstate 83 between Exits 14 and 15 entailing pavement resurfacing, ramp widening, and structural improvements to bridges among other elements. Exit 14 departs Interstate 83 northbound for Pennsylvania 182 amid the roadwork. The state highway meets South George Street (former U.S. 111) one half mile to the west and Pennsylvania 74 (Queen Street) 1.2 miles to the east at Spry. At present Business Loop Interstate 83 leaves Interstate 83 northbound via a left-hand off-ramp at Exit 15. Reconstruction of the interchange will relocate the ramp to the right-hand side of northbound for a safer transition. Construction also is underway along the 1950s construction Business Loop freeway between Interstate 83 and Country Club Road.
