The first exit within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania departs Interstate 70 westbound 1.50 miles north of the Pennsylvania state welcome center. U.S. 522 leaves the freeway via Exit 168 at the village of Warfordsburg. Photo taken 08/07/04.

Reflectorized guide sign adhering to retired specifications on Interstate 70 westbound. The exit renumbering project of 2001 saw the replacement of many button copy signs throughout the state. However some contractors replaced the original signs with reflectorized versions of the same sign. Thus PA 915 in text and a centered exit tab are found on the two-mile guide sign for Exit 151. Expressway ends one mile warning signs on Interstate 70 west. Visible in the background is the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 76) passing overhead. The turnpike through here dates from the early 1940s when there was no Interstate 70. The quarter mile overlap of Interstate 70 & U.S. 30 through Breezewood entails a commercialized strip of motels, gas stations, and eateries. Two traffic signals reside along the overlap.
